COLLECTOR GRADE M4 CS IN SAN MARINO BLUE
The BMW M4 was introduced in 2014 as the 2-door counterpart to the M3. Historically the M3 was sold in 2-door and 4-door guise, but for the F80 generation, the model line was split, and the M4 became the 2-door variant. The M4 CS was announced in early 2017, as a limited run of around 3,000 globally, with roughly 1,000 coming to the US. The CS features several handling and weight-saving features to differentiate it from the standard M4. Suspension changes included lower and stiffer springs, dampers, anti-roll bars from the M4 Competition, and a set of lightweight forged wheels. To save weight, the M4 CS received a carbon fiber–reinforced plastic hood, carbon splitter, carbon gurney flap, and carbon diffuser. On the inside, the CS was given the “compacted natural fiber” door panels of the GTS, lightweight seats, and removal of the center armrest. This lightweighting exercise removed 35 lbs. from the M4 CS and created a unique car.
This 2020 M4 CS is from the last model year of production and is finished in San Marino Blue over Black Alcantara and Leather Interior. Very few options were available with the M4 CS as it came very well optioned from the factory, but in addition to the $550 paint, it was optioned with the $1,650 Executive Package. The Executive Package added a rear power sunshade, full LED headlights, automatic high beams, and a heads-up display.
Sold new by Sterling Motorcars of Virginia in August 2019, it remained with its original owner until August of 2020, when it was purchased as a CPO vehicle by its previous owner. The Carfax shows no accidents on record, but that regular maintenance was performed by its last two owners. Once acquired by us, the car was cosmetically rejuvenated through a multi-stage paint correction, wheels off detail, interior detail, and engine bay detail. The car was then ceramic coated using a 1-year coating; the wheels were also ceramic coated for ease of future maintenance. As a result, the car presents near flawlessly and is in truly showroom condition. The Speed Collection now offers this M4 CS with a clean Carfax report, two keys, owner's manuals, two window stickers, and a clean title.
